About 5,000 peoples throng Kapit Town Square to witness the launching of 'Layar Bestari' by the Information Minster, Dato' Ahmad Shabery Cheek. 'Layar Bestari' is a new version of the 'free film show' once the main attraction to gather people so that the Information Officer could dessiminate relevant information to the public. Despite the drizzles, the crowd stayed to watch the film 'I'm Not Single' . Some pessimist might say its a step backward but as one audience comment,' it is a very nostalgic moment to be among the crowd witnessing the revival of the 'wayang free' because I grew up and learned many things during that era'.

..and may i know what type of govt policies disseminated during the wayang?
5,000 people? wow! tapi, orang datang nak tengok wayang atau orang datang nak tengok orang? biasa di luar bandar....perarakan Cina mati pun tengok.
